Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Jose Antonio Tavares, Defence Attaché Air Commodore Budi Susilo and Indonesian Honorary Consul in Vladivostok Anton Zubkho were also present for the arrival.

The EEF is being held from September 1–4, 2026. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said President Vladimir Putin had specifically invited Prabowo to serve as the event’s main guest of honour, describing the invitation as a reflection of Indonesia–Russia ties strengthened through direct diplomacy.
